Client Profile:
Our client is one of the immerging names in the construction and re-development sector. The company operates in the western suburb of Mumbai and tier two and tier three Maharashtra state cities in commercial and residential spaces.
The Problem We Identified:
The owners did not have clarity on the short, medium, and long-term direction of the organization due to which the organization was not on a structured growth path.
Challenges We Faced:
The major challenge was to bring all owner directors on the common platform for setting the long term direction of the organization.
The following methodology was used:
- Giving clarity of the exercise in terms of
- Session requirements
- Timing
- Reading material
- Homework
- The expected outcome of the individual and the entire session.
- Collective and 1:2:1 session for those who were lagging.
- Implementation of the strategy map
Having set the long term direction it was then bifurcated into medium and short term direction for three years and one year operational plan, monthly ,quarterly and six monthly review meeting to review goals set for annual operation plan
How We Helped
We decided to set the long-term direction by carrying out the visioning exercise.A detailed SWOT analysis was carried out to identify organizational strengths and weaknesses. This was followed by strategy formulation, crafting of vision, mission, and core values statement. We also ensured that visioning clarity was percolated down to all levels of the organization through vision percolation exercise to understand the organization’s long-term direction, vision, and core values for achieving common goals.
